SKAGEN paintings
The loaned picture material is delivered in the form of digital images, which are uploaded to our image archive on brandguide.io (link). Ask Brand Management in SKAGEN for access.
The files can also be sent via the WeTransfer web service (link), via which one can send large files for free. All picture material belongs to the Art Museums of Skagen, and the museum has the full copyright for the material.
SKAGEN Funds have access to a list of the works, of which the museum has digital photos. All the museum’s paintings have been digitally photographed, but with regard to works on paper, only parts of the collection have been digitally photographed.
The list is updated in the event of changes: for example, when the museum acquires new paintings.
Guidelines for the use of the pictures:
Picture material (digital photographs and slides) must be used only in connection with marketing and communication material produced by SKAGEN Funds. Picture material must not be further transferred, and SKAGEN Funds must not dispose of the material in any way. If the Art Museums of Skagen picture material is to be stored in the system of SKAGEN Funds, the organiser or the printer, the files must be deleted upon expiry of the cooperation agreement.
At the end of the cooperation SKAGEN Funds retain their archive of all marketing and promotional material, which was produced during the cooperation period. This includes the archive of Annual Reports and Market Reports, which will be accessible on SKAGEN Funds’ website, including pictures of the Skagen painters. SKAGEN Funds take responsibility for ensuring that the material in their archive is not used in further communication after termination of the cooperation agreement. SKAGEN Funds’ distributors can use extracts from advertisements, reports, brochures etc. and include them in their profiles. The material, which the distributors produce, must always be approved by SKAGEN Funds.
